Google Maps For Android Get Multi-Waypoint Directions

Google Maps Multiple Locations and Driving Directions - One of the great Google Maps tricks is being able to set multiple destinations. You can make multiple stops, X to Y to Z routes easily.

Android users will be first to get the new feature as soon as update 9.31 rolls out. Refers from Android Police reports, a beta version of the update shows that Google is working for implementing the new feature as we mentioned earlier- Google Map multiple driving directions.

They says the feature is likely activated by a server-side switch, not an actual update to Maps. The things you should give attention is update the Google Maps in your Android phone to the latest version and wait to make the feature available in your area.

Just open the app, enter a destination, tap the corner menu, and then click “Add a stop”. To rearrange the order of your stops, tap and hold the three dot menu to the left of “Add stop” and drag it to the position you want - you can even search for types of places like gas stations or restaurants like you normally would.

Once you’ve added all your stops, tap “Done” and your multi-stop route is complete. When you enter navigation mode you’ll have the same seamless driving experience you’re used to, whether you’re going from errand to errand or hitting scenic spots along Route 66.

The second feature will help you remember your travels in a brand new way. Google Maps users with Location History enabled can open Your Timeline, select a date from their recent vacation or everyday life and add notes to help remember what they did that day-or save important notes for later.

How about the Google Map for iPhone devices? Of course it will also receive. Google confirmed that Android is going to soon receive the multiple stops feature, and iOS getting it next.
